I enjoy small villages and cottages the most. Other than that, probably winter scenes and forests. Haven't really tried Autumn scenes that much and if I could transpose my imagination of mountain scenes properly through the medium of the editor, then I would enjoy that one too.

I went for settlements, meadows and forests. They just work best, compared to other scenes, with my style I think.

Yes you do forests particularly well I think, quite a similar style to Oliver and newIdea if you don't mind the comparison. Though I don't think that's anything to be ashamed of.

Yes I've noticed that comparison too (although I'm not as good ), I suppose it's my pickiness when it comes to what things look like - realism over "eye candy".

Mountains (though need to improve in that area), meadows/fields, and forests. 8 Year Old inside all of us talking: lol, its called Poll of the Week XXX. Sorry, I had to say that.

I like the variation of designing different things, but my top favourite would be small islands and villages. For this poll I picked towns, forests and winter scenes

I forgot to put in deserts, although I doubt that's anyone's favourite.

Winter schemes for me, of course.

Forests, in my opinion, is the easiest kind of environment to design. They require almost no pattern, just put in random trees , and you already have a well-made forest! (minus eye-candies)

Random trees is easy, but IMHO by the end it doesn't always look that good. I find that maybe a few random trees, and then combined with a number of specifically chosen types of tree that suit the location or environment and not to forget a small morsel of GAIA units (like rocks, berries etc), then you end up with a most satisfying forest.

"Minus eye-candies", I stated.

Dash these bloody cities. No matter how much I try, I just can't seem to get it right. Anyone got a link or a template? Forests, in my opinion, are one of the easiest things to design.
