I personally don't think the reviewer matters, if the scenario was recommended then I might check it out. After all, I decide if a scenario deserves a high ranking (personally). And there's also the random stuff that looks neat as well.

Yeah I agree. I mostly download files that have good reviews, or good descriptions and sound interesting. Sometimes I download files with poor reviews in the hope that they're not as bad as the review suggests, however I'm often proven wrong.
I will download any file where I can see effort has been put into it. Starting with the Blacksmith description, and this usually means that effort has been put into the whole scenario as well.

You see, I have limited time and I don't want to waste it on rubbish. Also, too many times reviews (particularly ones from 99/00/01) seem really generous compared to the actual thing so I stick to things reviewed well by someone reliable.

I chose the first option. Though I would really download anything with a good description. Also 'good reviewer' in my eyes also means a relatively new reviewer because the really old ones are quite crap at times and don't describe the scenario well, even the 'official' reviewers.

And whom do you count as reliable reviewers?

Not many people. Stephen Richards, Mashek, Jatayu, Tanneur and so on. You too, but it has to be a really high score (you're so generous sometimes ).

I usually download scenarios with catchy names.
