Four in one modAfter a long time this idea been in the back of my head, I put in 2 hours and finished this mod. It changes several units into their 4-in-1 variant, as shown above. Units changed: archer, skirmisher, swordsman, spearman lines. Unique units and cavalry are not changed. Bear in mind that the units only look 4 times as big, but have the same stats. To make it more accurate they should have 4 times HP, 4 times attk, cost 4 times more, etc. but this I leave to the downloader. ( It can be easily done with Genied2 ) I would like to thank peterbrooks whose half scale mod I got the idea from and Ykkrosh for Genied1. This may be updated depending on response. Avaliable at blacksmith soon..

Hmm, it is a good Idea for archers, but won't the melee units look rather odd?
Either way multiplying graphics is fun and something I have fooled around with recently.

That is so cool! I like it. Though, do each of the soldiers that make up the one 'unit' individually fight? And what happens if one of them dies? Or is it such that when health reaches zero, the set die as a whole? I'm just interested on how the whole idea works in-game.

Eh, double post? I deleted one.
Anyway the attacking melee units do look a bit odd but not much. And you can get a veritable army out of fewer units this way.
I am using this in my new campaign as well as the Roman mod. It makes micro a lot easier.
No, they fight as a whole, die as a whole. They are just one unit basically, just the graphics are multiple.

Ah ok. Still I think this would definitely make impressive large-scale battles, either in cut-scenes or for playable scenarios. It would be awesome if each member of the group acted individually, but I guess that such a thing would be rather impossible.

It's there in RoN.
Personally I feel RoN could easily have been the successor of Aok, because of its similar but better gameplay, better graphics, much better AI etc. But the editor screwed things up, and so now you have a dead heaven there and the game sinks into oblivion.

I haven't played that game yet. I enjoyed Knights of Honour if you've heard of it. Though unfortunately that gameplay in that game is limited and there is no scenario editor which is a great pity.
