I've run into a weird problem that I was hoping someone would have an answer too. About 8 months ago my hard drive failed and I replaced it, I lost almost all AOK stuff. I'm tying to finish my DTS08 Scn. and I need the Agressive AI again for it. Stephen Richards already sent it to me but I can't get it into the editor? It's in my AI folder but it won't load because it's a per. and not a AI file. Before my HD replacement I used to just put both AI and per. files into my AI file and they would be available under 'personality' But now I have 6 that I can select from(AI) and about 15 (per.) that are in my AI folder but don't show up under 'personality' There is a visible difference in the 'page' to the left of the program. The usable AI files have a desktop on the page where as the unusable per. files have the internet symbol (E with a slash) on it. Do I need a program to run the per. files? I set up Aok on my old HD so long ago I don't remember and I didn't find anything on the FAQ at Heaven Games?
Any thoughts or info anyone?

.AI files are blank. If you have say xyz.per, create a blank text file in notepad and name it xyz.ai and place in AI folder, should work fine.

If you have a file called x.per you need a blank file called x.ai otherwise it won't show up under personality

What happens exactly? Does it crash?

No it doesn't crash it says [file `agressive AI` failed to open error 5001]
What's weird is that it used to work by just putting the AI into the AI folder. I just don't remember if it was always that way or if I had to download a program or something. I need something agressive for my DTS Scn. 'cause standard sucks.

Thanks I'll see if it works but I may use odaker.1 because it works for me and it's very similar to agressive AI, maybe even better. The villagers work and the military units all attack. Thanks for all the help everyone! I think I can get by for the DTS but I'll still have to work on why .per files don't work for me.

The application can't change original data during recovery. The program starts under low system requirements and any system configuration.
