Quick question SWS: are there any cases in which someone using 1024x768 or 1280x1024 wouldn't be able to use the 800x600 resolution?

I don't think there are any cases like that, maybe. However, does the last resolution work for you? My monitor doesn't support it.

Mine doesn't support the highest solution for some reason, and 800 x 600 works but is absolutely awful looking and impossible to control anything. No idea how some people use that setting. EDIT: just realized you didn't ask about 800x600 being good or bad. No I think that resolution does work for everyone. But it is still terrible.

Don't say that in the presence of Mashek.

Don't worry, you won't have to use it for more than 10 seconds.

That's okay Julius, I used to wonder how anyone could NOT use it but with my new monitor 1024x768 is the way to go.

My monitor supports all resolutions, but I use 1024x768. I tried the 1280x1024 but it sucked!

Well, it seems this puzzle won't work for the project I'm making, so, if anyone was wondering... Black lines = impassible Red line = gate Green circles = palisade walls (or units) (assume there's another circle in the bottom-left corner ) Blue circle = you The objective would be to exit the square by going through the gate. If you could see any of the green circles, the gate would lock, and it would unlock if no green circles would be seen. Meanwhile, you would change ownership to a different player if you couldn't see your unit and get him back when he was visible; the only way to exit would be to change resolutions to 800x600 so you could see your unit but not the walls.

Clearer: For me, the third resolution worked when I created a new user in AoK:TC. Try the same and see if the first one works for you?

That puzzle is broken. I could bring my unit right up to the gate then move the screen such that the vast majority of it is black but I still have sight of my unit in the top right corner of the screen. No green circles would be visible, the gate would unlock and I'd be through.
It works however if you change the alignment of the walls so that they run directly up and down and left to right across the screen, rather than diagonally.
If you're running low on ideas, I've PMed you a puzzle idea.

Nope, it doesn't do anything. Hence why one should assume there would be a green circle in the bottom left corner. I realized this after I uploaded the picture to photobucket. Checking PMs.

Ah, I see. I didn't get what you meant by bottom left corner. In my mind corners involve an acute angle.
