And oh, will someone tell me what's the connection between Julius999 and the Knight Frederick?

A couple of years ago he and I sent a bunch of our unfinished scenarios to each other for inspection, comments and just out of curiousity. I sent him a very newly started scenario called "The Adventures of Knight Frederick" or something along those lines, which he quite enjoyed and thought I should continue working on. The scenario never got finished, although I still have some ideas for the story, but I decided to give him a cameo appearance in My Fair Princess.

Ha ha, awesome! The quality is very watchable too (on 1080p), which I hadn't expected. Seems like you may have garnered a few more fans. You should have included a link to the forums too.

Hey dude, thanks a lot for that! Appreciate it. I've wanted to get em up for ages but never really figured out the best way or had a specific youtube account for it.

Hey, yea it's pretty overwhelming. I'm really happy that somebody wants to get back into aok after viewing it. Tho I literally can't help cringe every time the 2nd scene of last samurai plays out, it's like eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, ok new scene. I just find it a bit cheesy haha, was awesome at the time tho

Well done! Now, release a new scenario so you can reaffirm your status as mini-celebrity.

Dear Mr Basse. I want to personally thank you for creating this scenario. I sat down with my wife's brother the other day (he was going through a hard time) and we watched this together. It really brightened him up and I am very grateful. You have an excellent talent particularly at this corny comedy and I encourage you to keep it up! Von.

Couldn't agree more, Von. This scenario is particularly memorable to me due to a particular instance in which I quite literally fell out of my chair laughing at one of the comic sequences.

Thanks a lot chaps! It's really great to hear that your work can truly lift someone's spirits! And Von, "corny" is definitely the word here, haha! Having read your and Sam's comments I decided to watch the cinematic again for the first time in over a year, and I found myself cringing quite badly more than once - although more so at the bad timing of the events than the jokes, which were at least intentionally corny, haha!

I believe I was the first to dub Basse corny. If I recall, he didn't even know what the term meant then!

As I recall, your expression was "cornball". It was around the Middle Basse period where everything had to involve at least one kind motherly female character called Samnastazia.

Haha, yeah I remember that. In hindsight, it was a very apt description. Ugh... those were the days, weren't they?

Clearly she wanted to meet the fellow whose cinematic brought her song so much extra publicity

Sadly, the YouTube version of this scenario was blocked a while ago due to copyright issues. Not due to the title song, though, but one of the minor tracks by Tomoyasu Hotei. It did rake in just over 236,000 views before the takedown, though!
My currently most view cinematic is the first scenario from The Relics of Athalën, with approximately 80,000 views!
