For the second year in a row, me and the friends with whom I run a YouTube channel were invited to a convention called NärCon. We held a number of panels and other events, met a ton of fans, saw a lot of pretty amazing costumes, and much more. Good times were had all around. Well, except for that one time when some random guy came up and hugged a friend of mine from behind... and then just walked away... Highlights include: - Showing an unreleased episode of our most watched YouTube series to a packed lecture hall and getting an amazing, immediate response,
- Having to turn away about half the people who had queed to see said video, as the room couldn't hold more than ~200-250 people. A shame, but also quite mind-boggling that so many people actually showed up! We will have to schedule multiple screenings if we go back next year, or get a time slot on the main stage!
- Meeting two people who had decided to cosplay two characters from one of our video series!
- Possibly the best, and definitely the least expected part: getting to sign a copy of The Conquerors Expansion for a guy who knew me both from the YouTube channel and my AoK campaigns.
I still didn't dress up as anything, though.

I went to a con once. But I had to pay to get in and no one wanted to hug me.
