Basically, a popular program that allows us to play AoK online now is Hamachi (Ham for short). It works by joining a network (just type in the channel name and password - like IRC) and then you are on a LAN network with all other users on the same network. So HAM makes a LAN work by using the Internet. You can download Hamachi at www.hamachi.cc/download/You may have HAM now, but if you're not on any networks, you can't play! There are channels AOKH2-AOKH4 (AOKH is full) and the password for all is "HUNTER" - so once your on, you can talk to all your buddies at AokH To start a game, go under the multilayer menu and choose "LAN" and click host. Because of Hamachi, people who are on the same network as you will see your LAN game under their LAN menu in AOK - thus they Can join. Getting games going by IP works, but it takes longer to give people your IP and gubbins. Hope this post was informative

Sometimes it spazzes out.
Restarting your computer, though cliched, works when this happens and you cant seem to connect and it takes like 10mins to try and auto-connect.

I think maybe it's just nI, me and FB that can't directly connect. If you host, I'm pretty sure we can, Scuddles.

I think it does Swordsworn, it's been ages since I last used a mac, but there is a forum there for OS X. You can check it out down the list a bit here. I haven't used hamachi for AoK yet, but I was having trouble connecting my laptop wirelessly to our existing cable LAN, (it's kinda complicated), but anyway so far Hamachi has fixed that for me Great program.

Here's a list of the current networks created for AoK and their status:
EDIT: Updated 4 July 2007
AOKH - Full AOKH1 - Currently not in existance AOKH2 - Full AOKH3 - Currently not in existance AOKH4 - Full AOKH5 - Full AOKH6 - Full AOKH7 - 1 Vacancy AOKH8 - Vacancies
Note that the status of any one of these networks may change as people join/leave etc. Currenly AOKH8 is the last network, when that nears capacity, someone will make an AOKH9.
As always, 'HUNTER' is the password that will allow you to join any of the networks for AoK.

Hmm, I haven't checked the status of those networks for a while.
Hamachi is good, but from what I understand now, the present favourite for playing online multiplayer games is easiest and best done through IGZones. I haven't used it personally so I'm not sure exactly how it all works but I believe it is very similar to the old MSNZone.
