I thought we could have one poll each week, then sum them up in a thread somewhere. Just for fun's sake, and to actually use these polls a bit I'll try making the questions about AoK, but perhaps other things as well.

I'm usually just happy that I can get the project finished! However I have to say that reading people's comments and knowing that they have enjoyed the scenario definitely would have to be for me the most enjoyable part. Reaping the rewards of your hard work!

As much as I love getting scenarios finished, and getting good feedback and reviews, I love seeing good map design and trigger work more. Playing my latest version of Siege of Prethonia, I get shivers by the startling realness of the gameplay, not to mention the cold and darkness one can sense through the map design. It is all so beautiful, yet so damn dark. It is because of the look of the map design and the way the game plays that motivates me to continue designing the bloody thing, not people's comments. Although, I do love getting well-earned comments after much hard work.

I cant wait to see it finished, especially after your own comments To me, designing and triggering are great parts in the whole thing and I dont think I'd survive long without designing in one way or another But comments and reviews of my work are the things that make me most excited. For example I've been eagerly awaiting your review, Mashek, ever since you told me you had one in progress. I was getting irritated it took more than three seconds for the review to get approved So, yes, I voted for comments and critics as well

The above summarised: Hype, hype, hype . (Just kidding, I know you set yourself high standards. You can put away the poisoned umbrella now) Fixing Bug Problem: No, this is not fun at all Designing: Yes, it's a nice change from endless school essays and the like. Comments: No, slightly interesting but that's it. Being happy with completion: No, I have a lot more stuff to be happy I've got through, and it doesn't really register when designing.

I guess you're not as nerdy as me

@basse lol, Basse, I can't approve my own reviews. Tanneur does that. It actually took some days for him to approve it, which is normal as he is busy. It's alright Basse, I am not a nerd, and others will vouch for that, but I suppose we all have to have some kind of "nerdy" element to us to design, to post at forums and to join design teams! @julius lol, I wasn't hyping it, just saying it as it was. Still other days when I play the game it is all so routine and boring! When I design my games (well, the proper ones) I need to feel the atmosphere and flow of the gameplay in order for me to like it, or at least accept it as something worthy to upload - eitherwise I'll always be working on it trying to get it to my liking. Hence I said it was dark and cold and spine shivering - just the way I like it. Hell, I hope my fate lies with directing films.

Overcoming bugs: This is the most irritating part of scenario designing. Especially when you thought everything was finished, then someone come barging in and report an error that he found.
Designing map and triggers: This is the most enjoyable part. But sometimes it's annoying if you keep making mistake with the triggers and have to test and re-test the game over and over again.
Getting feedbacks and reviews: Nothing can be more pleasing than hearing positive and constructive comments from the people for your days of hard, devoted work. But it's not the top priority.
Being satisfied with completion: Of course. It doesn't feel good to see your unfinished projects get abandoned, just like that.

Haha, true. I'm more or less in the same boat as you there. The Second Hand Car Salesman's Favourite Excuse: "Hype? Never! I'm telling it like it is!"

When it comes to bragging about your products, honesty will get you nowhere.
