Hrm.. tough call, for I spend time designing as long as my mood takes me. But mostly, I'm on it 1 hour a day, or more, depends on my bedroom's atmosphere. As for playing, I don't do it much nowadays. Probably because I'm busy with my 1st year of college.

Me, I'm in between 6-8 hours a week. I design and play, mainly because AoC is the only game I have on the computer! Plus it is great fun to play friends over the net in a multiplayer scenario, especially one you yourself made. Usually though we just play a random map.

At last, most of us have something in common.

I'm the same. I just do not have the time for others.

Yeah, understand you there Julius. I have no time and therefore only dwell full-time/ part-time in one website, that being HG.

AoK is the only game I play regularly. I play AoM and other games occasionaly, but only for a period of time. I've played AoK almost every day, with a few exceptions for breaks, since I was seven

When I was seven AoK didn't exist. And the only computers within twenty miles ran Windows 3.something.

When I was seven, heck! I don't even know what happened then! Think I was in grade 1 or something. I think it was when grade 6 came around that AoK came out and I was mightily addicted to it, as was the whole family.

It's been a couple of years, and AoK is still our favorite little thing until this moment. That's wonderful, but I wonder for how much longer?

Never. AoK will never die. Well, at least not before AoE3. Edit: Woah, there's a lot of "stuff" here. What's with the stars and the pictures and the buttons?

I think the stars have something to do with post count. However Members/Moderators/Admin get extra stars with pretty colours. EDIT: I remember first playing AoK when I was in about 15, ahh those many late nights just trying to defeat the standard AI.... ahh the memories, the memories.

What are you onna 'bout, Von, I still struggle to defeat the standard AI! AoK will last long in my books. What can I say, I love to design.

Still struggling?? I find that hard to believe! The only trouble I have with designing is implementing the ideas I have. Sometimes, I just get these fantastic (exaggeration) ideas, but when I get them designed etc, for some reason it never quite works out quite the way I had hoped. Of course some times this is limited by the abilites of the game engine, but mostly it's probably just me. You know what would be awesome, the ability to fire triggers using fractions of seconds. (ie. 0.5, 1.5 etc, instead of 1, 2, 10) But unfortunately I think it's impossible.

How true, Von. Personally, I can think anything I want to think, I was blessed with a wide array of imagination. However, when I implement it to the form of a scenario, most of the time I'll get stuck in the middle without knowing what should the next plot be. Afterwards, I'll just abandon the whole stuff and then start another from scratch. That's why I have a slow-pace in designing. Yeah, the ability to put decimals in the timer would be great. If only the guys at ES would make another expansion pack for AOK.
