I'm a fan of Italian cuisine, although I have the usual English liking for crumpets, Earl Grey tea, toast, English breakfast and teacakes.

McDonalds. No, not really. I seem to enjoy anything that is available to me, although Japanese food is some of my favorite for some reason.

Typical! I myself like to indulge in a healthy morning breakfast of witchedy grubs, kangaroo and a fried platter, complete with salad and dressing, of platypus - straight from the Murray River. On the other hand, I love Indian food... oh, and creamy soda/apple juice/orange juice as a drink.

What's 'Indian food' ? ;D No seriously. I mean we have like 20 different regional cusinies- and many of them very distinct I might say. I'd love to know what kind of things are passed off as "Indian food" elsewhere And what does kangaroo taste like?

In the UK at least:
Indian food = Curry/Anything else spicy
But I'd be interested to hear a more realistic picture.

Well, um, spicy, meaty and ricey food together with this bread with goat's cheese. Oh, and Indian beer. Still, awesomely tasty stuff. I like how you get separate bowls of curried meat and rice so that you can share with everyone else on the table. Kind of meal I'd prefer, however not too good in 30-degree arvo heat. One sweat's too much. Kangaroo has a peculiar taste, but it is really nice and very, very good for you. Apparently it is one of our biggest exports into Russia. However, you'll have to try it for yourself. I haven't had it in a while to remember what it tasted like exactly. Probably just like chicken.

North American food=less healthy version of all other foods Actually as most of you probably guessed from the last name, I am part Italian so that is where my food allegiences are. Well actually, Mexican food is one of my favourites too.

Price is a very relative term really, and plus I didn't have them at big fancy restaurants - I suppose they will be obscenely costly there. I recall eating them from small roadside vendors who sold fresh stuff that had just been caught

So what do you think about what the Americans did to pizza? After I went to Venice and sampled the food there, I never wanted a Hawaiian topping again.

Italian food is a favourite (I make lasagna regularly), but else I like varied food. Curry and other spicy food, chicken, salmon, homemade pizza (as well as from some restaurants), much more.

Well, I don't eat Hawaiian toppings, that is barbarian I like real pizza, and I also like american pizza. I have come to separate them in my mind as two different foods. One is more of an actual meal, the other is party junk food.

Anything cheap and healthy, basically. National dishes seem to be the only kind of food that could harmonize with my selective tongue. And a glass of hot chocolate.

I'm not really all that fancy when it comes to foods. Just about every night I have some sort of cooked potatoes and pumpkin along with a roast meat of some kind/turkey/chicken/fish. Corn, love corn and peas, oh and some of the rissoles from the local butcher are just mwhah! Spaghetti I like, as it's nice and easy to cook, goes well with mince and potatoes. Curry, hmm I honestly don't understand while some people like it so much. I usually end up drinking a whole heap of water by the end. That said I quite enjoy a mild curried egg for breakfast, along with porridge and toast covered in avocado or honey. Usually honey (I save the avocado for dinner). Dessert. Lets see. Custard or stewed apples or peaches/nectarines. Delicious. I know the whole point of eating out is to get the best that there is to offer or fancy dishes or the like, but I usually just go for the 'Roast of the Day' since it's closest to what I usually have at home. I guess I'm not much of a conoisseur. (sp?) EDIT: I forgot rice pudding. I make a mean rice pudding. *drools* Also just another question, I've always called meals in this fashion: Breakfast - Morning Dinner - Midday Tea - Evening meal. Though just about everybody else seems to call 'Dinner' the evening meal and shove lunch in instead. I am just curious whether any of you do something similar, or maybe totally different?

Breakfast Lunch Afternoon Tea (The Swedish word for this has no real English translation ) Dinner Desserts: cheesec_ake is my favourite, but other great desserts are Brazilian pudding, vanilla parfaƮt (like home made ice cream, but better), panacotta, chocolate pudding and more. Why's ca_ke censored?

I'm not sure Basse, but I've changed it now. Yes cheescakes are indeed fabulous as well as chocolate pudding.

It was me who censored cake, as part of my Communist regime. That reminds me of a joke actually. "My wife's learning Cuban, it's like Spanish but with fewer words for luxury go_ods." EDIT: Von you evil fiend, you censored 'go_od'.

As for dessert, I'm a huge fan of bread and butter pudding. Ingrediants are, I think, bread, butter , egg, milk and sultanas. Put it in the oven and afterwards you have one steamingly awesome, with either cream and icecream on top (or both ), dessert ready to devour.

My friends told me that a cup of coffee is a sure way to keep you hyped up, to stay awake throughout the night. Lacking absolutely no idea if that was true or not, I naively followed the advice. Back then in high school, I used to do that "ritual" when I was preparing for crucial exams. But that doesn't mean that I like coffee.

I'm not a big fan of warm drinks, so I completely skip coffee and tea. However, drinking iced-coffee is a whole different thing.

Do you blokes get those caffeine drinks overseas? Silly question probably, but we have them here, V, RedBull, and a few others as well. They may be ok one at a time, but I've seen fools drink 5-6 of them in a day and by the end of it they're crackers. Can't be good for you I reckon.
