For this christmas I decided to make a new version of my older, quite popular, A Christmas Story. This will be an improved version with a few add-ons, but it will be the same thing in the basics. What to expect: - A fourth story, featuring Vikings!
- Even bigger file-size!
- An atmosperic christmas gift
As soon as I get the fourth story done it should be ready for a first playtesting round. That could take some time as I'm not really in the mood for working on it right now, but expect it to be ready in a month or two

At the words "atmospheric Christmas gift" I almost had to leap for cover and wince in anticipation. Please tell me it isn't something you're going to regret. Joking of course, I'm sure it won't be that bad.

After I looked at the 3rd point, which said "Even bigger file-size!", I'm starting to think about getting a faster connection.

The fourth story is getting close to its end. Unfortunately,. with my current lack of inspiration, I wont be able to remake the Traditional Story for Christmas. I'll be releasing it as a Deluxe Edition or something with a non-changed trad. story.
If anyone feels like playtesting, please sign up now. I hope to have this finished a week or two before Christmas. I'll tell you when I'm done and then send the files over.

Sorry, Basse, I can't playtest but I wish you luck anyway. Only a few weeks till Chrissy. I have other things to do, such as my siege scenario for that contest over at the forums.

I'm not sure if I can finish both this one and my entry this December, but I'll try at least

If it were up to me I'd say to get the siege scenario done.

Well if I work a lot I'm sure I can finish them both. This one doesn't have much work left to do. DTI4, on the other hand, needs lot of triggerwork and boring seadesign

In my knowledge, a hyperactive designer like you could even make three project simultaneously. But good luck anyways on the contest for all of you.

When things get tense, just drop out of school. You can spend most of your time designing afterwards.

Alright, the scenario is pretty much finished, but I need someone to test the last story out. Would anyone of you feel like doing it? It's not that hard, I've eliminated all gameplay-stopping bugs and fixed pretty much everything.
If anyone's willing to do it I'll send the file over as soon as possible.

I'll give it a go if you like. Send it on over as soon as you can. I'll try and report ASAP!

Well, it's probably too late for me, so I give you good luck. I don't think that's much of a good thing...

Well since it's only about the music, that gives a very good atmosphere in my opinion, I dont think it matters. Most people have some bandwidth anyway so it wont take all day to download I could send it over, if you have time to test it right away. I need a report - or at least answer whether it plays good or not - today, within a few hours. The gametime aint long so if you feel like it, I'll send it over

Nope. Unfortunately, I can't get Windows to work for me now. It's being difficult, sorry. Hopefully, when it starts working for me again I can play it.

Ok it worked great this time Basse. You're right, the ending is a little abrupt though also unexpected but I can't think of anything better. Just one query though. If you select the 4th story first and play it though, the game goes straight on to the final sequence without you being able to play any of the other stories. Is this how you wanted it to be? Other than that, excellent work. I look forward to seeing the update at the Blacksmith.

Yep, that's how it's supposed to be, just like for the other stories I couldn't come up with an ending that was better, and still not too cliché or predictable. Hopefully people will apreatiate it anyway, even if it's abrupt Thanks for testing!
