I'm trying to create a typical setting where the season is the brink of winter, and the first snow falls. I've acquired a few "cold, howling wind" soundtracks to supplement it and sprinkled a few dashes of snow grass, snow dirt, snow and snow pine trees randomly, but the map design looks a bit random. Example.I'm curious as to how would you define and design such a setting than can be held for the whole map. Views?

Also, I've decided to make this an official "Watson's querimonial corner".
How would one go about instructing the AI to convert cathedrals? I'm thinking of implementing that condition from the third scenario of the Barbarossa campaign in my siege scenario. I imagine it would work well if you choose to be the attacker force, especially with limited monk units, but I'm unsure whether it would fit with choosing defender. For instance, the AI would be helpless if I did a suicide charge at aiming to kill the monks. Perhaps just change victory conditions for AI?

The winter screenshot looks okay to me. Obviously it's a bit odd when you have just a few random spots of snow but it conveys the idea and looks all right.
I imagine that it would be very fiddly to get that to work well. Probably just change the victory condition.

I've decided to stick with random snow pines sprinkled, with the occasional snow dirt or grass on the rim of the treeline. Ah, fine then. I'll just stick to "capture the monument".
