It's a stupid idea, what with AOK definitely not being suited to the kind, but how would I go about making do with AOK as far as making the interiors of palatial buildings look better? Basse cleverly avoided this by the refurbishment dialogue apologising for the lack of furniture and decor in Rockspring, but now that tactic's gone and used. Do any of you know of any design tricks I could implement?
For now, I have a room lined with red carpet rotation (like the room in PbP3) and random stuff like a statue in the centre, torches in locations and whatnot.

Red Carpet thing was in Rockspring too. I suggest make the screen black and just provide the dialogues? Like I made the scene where Watson goes to a brothel for some info but since I couldn't show the inside, I made the screen black and just pure dialogues, and lots of *oomph* in the background.

Just making it completely dark is even more boring .
Make a mod with chairs, tables, paintings, fireplaces and whatnot. Other than that there are really few options for making really good indoors scenes.

What's funny is that I've already got a mod I made, containing chests, shelves, and tables with a candlestick and book, a bearskin carpet and a sword prepped against it, and other household stuff. Shamelessly stolen from Google SketchUp, the graphics are.

Inserting things to make it look like a brothel will probably get me banned again. ooooh....VDMLs! but then he would be gay.

Lol. Yea, without modding indoor scenes suck.
There is only so much you can do with statues, road terrain, rugs and torches.
You'll see in blood memories I've actually built an indoor prison by modding.

As for me... I still have SketchUp.

I simply show the exterior of the building and have dialogue on the screen. That's the best method without modding in my opinion, unless you need something elaborate.

Indeed, looks like that's what I'll have to do.
